Its been a few past few weeks.

I took my mom to NY to visit Morgy. It was my mom's first time EVER to NY and I don't think NY knew what was in store :) We had a great,fun-filled, action packed, laughable good time. We flew on Virgin America which I was excited about. I had been dying to check out these new planes. The only thing which I found a bit disappointing was that they charged for Movies ($8 for Jane Austen Book Club - i think not) and they didnt give out any gratis snacks food or sustenance the entire duration of the flight. Sure we drank 2 bottles of $8 mini wines to take off our mind off the lack of free food. Once in New York we crashed at Morgy's for a bit. My mom was a bit blindsided by the sheer volume of people out and about on the NY Streets. After vegging for a bit, we left the East Village and headed to SOHO dinner at Balthazar. I of course, got a Manhattan! After a very tasty dinner we headed back, where my mom and I crashed. Over the course of the next few days we did SO much.

I'm not going into details, so heres my recap for those of you. in no particular order...
Century 21, Wicked (we won the ticket lottery and for front row, center orchestra for $26! Reg $111 a ticket. Oy Vey!), Paul's amazing breakfast (Corn meal pancakes to die for) The Cardboard Bong, Morgan and I faux kicking a printer on the street, Marie Crisis, Chugging a pitcher of beer at Grassroots, sitting in the smallest room and eating Yakatori, Aperture, Project Runway and the Peacocka Tail, AFV and how the host looks like Anthony Bourdain, My mom's PANTS sighting (Rachel Dratch from SNL. drab.)Lucky Strike, farts, "that little kid is a fucker", the rotating bar with the $20 drinks to die for, uniqlo, boots and scoots!.

Danny is in the Philippines and is back tomorrow - yay! the bed is lonely without him. I toss and turn all night as there is no one to fend off my restless sleep.

Going to GAMH right now to see BirdMonster and hang out with R & D. Yeah!!

I'm so Anxious today...

Don't know why but I feel like I can't sit still for some reason. Perhaps its the outrageously strong 3 cups of coffee that I had earlier today. Or maybe its just that I am ready for a little traveling. Thank god I am going to visit Morgy in NY next week. Or perhaps its that I don't have a million things on my plate and I am feeling restless. urgh.

We went up to Tahoe this weekend and it was SUCH a task to get up there. We were stuck in *stand-still* traffic for 1.5 hours about 30 miles from our destination of Sugar Bowl. Once we finally got there, the conditions were snowy and a bit windy. But the runs were evenly blanketed with powder...amazing.
